I-deal Overstock covers 90% of Europe and will be completed end of 2009.
01-2009: I-deal Overstock has seen a strong increase in overstock offered on their platform end of 2008. The economic crisis has created much more focus on reducing overstock. Selling ‘dead’ and ‘slow moving’ stock and reducing sku’s leads to a capital release and less complexity. This makes companies leaner and meaner in order to fight the economic crisis.
12-2008: 3 major multinationals in Home- and Personal Care have decided to sell all their European overstock via I-deal Overstock. The pilots with these companies resulted in lower stocks, more reliability, higher revenues and more control. Therefore all 3 companies decided to roll-out this new approach to all their European countries.
09-2008: I-deal Overstock is now fully operating in 11 European countries and many auctions are being held for about 60 A-brand manufacturers. All the major and reliable buyers in these countries are connected to the platform. Manufacturers that sell all their European overstock via I-deal Overstock have already seen great results. In the near future we expect to announce more major manufacturers that will choose to work with I-deal Overstock on a European level.

12-2006: 12.000 families of the Foodbank have received their Christmas Box. We have received many enthusiastic responses from families: some called us to say that it was their first Christmas Box in their lives and they were very happy with it!
11-2006: I-deal Overstock has auctioned 1.000.000 units!
11-2006: I-deal Overstock has started an initiative with the Foodbank in The Netherlands to help poor families to have a merry Christmas!. A nice element of Christmas is for most people to receive a Christmas Box from their employers. This is not the case for the families that depend on the Foodbank. Therefore, I-deal Overstock and the Foodbank will provide 12.000 poor families with a Christmas Box. This box consists of overstock from manufacturers like Unilever, Procter&Gamble, United Biscuits and Cadbury.
